• deanThe never-ending struggle to improve the academe and its clientele is a legacy that this institution can be very proud of. The University of Southeastern Philippines is one of the top twenty schools in the country per CHED and PRC studies and was granted the Highest SUC Level Status (Level IV). Thus, quality instruction and the best approaches in shaping minds can now be felt more than ever.

     

    The joint efforts of the School Administration, Faculty and Staff in catering to the needs of their learners have provided the students with the best possible environment where they can grasp the learning they need. The Faculty are having graduate studies to ensure effective and efficient teaching. The use of technology in instruction has also benefited the students well. It has always been the administration’s goal to provide the students the state-of-the-art facilities that they will need in their education.

     

    To better facilitate learning, Electronic Library is available for students’ and faculty use. This technology equips the students and the instructors with the skills and the knowledge in integrating technology in instruction. A number of laboratories are also at hand to give concrete learning experiences to students. These make students aware of the advanced technology present at the moment and helps in producing globally competitive graduates in the future.

     

    The production of a number of Licensed Engineers and Foresters is one of the achievements that make the university proud of. The production of these quality graduates contributes a lot in the economic development of the country and in Bislig City for they will be gainfully employed.

     

    Thus, I am pretty-well sure that every Usepian in University of Southeastern Philippines-Bislig is holistically prepared towards the challenges of the future.

    The University of Southeastern Philippines – Bislig Campus is the lone state university in Region XII which offers courses in forestry, engineering, and technology. The USEP-Bislig promotes advance studies, research, extension service and progressive leadership needed in the socio-economic development of Caraga and Mindanao.
     
    History
     
    When the Bisliganon and its public officials were in search for the catalyst of Bislig, Barobo, Hinatuan, Lingig and Tagbina (BIBAHILITA) development, Congressman Jesnar R. Falcon of Surigao del Sur, initiated a resolution establishing a state university within the region. On August 10, 1997 marked the Foundation Day of the University of Southeastern Philippines – Bislig campus with Board of Regents Chairman Hon. Angel C. Alcala (CHED) and University President Dr. Edmundo B. Prantilla at Maharlika, Bislig City. It is located 7 kilometers from the heart of the city and has four (4) sister campuses namely Obrero (Davao), Mintal (Davao), Tagum and Mabini.

    A premier University in the ASEAN Region.By becoming a premier university in the ASEAN Region, the USEP shall be a center of excellence and development, responsive and adaptive to fast-changing environments. USEP shall also be known as the leading university in the country that fosters innovation and applies knowledge to create value towards social, economic, and technological developments.
