Fifteen delegates from the University of Southeastern Philippines were sent to a Training-Workshop for Accreditors on Outcomes Based Quality Assurance by the Accrediting Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACUP) last August 2-4, 2017 at the Central Mindanao University (CMU), Maramag, Bukidnon.
All 15 delegates from USeP passed the exam given by AACCUP officials and facilitators who assessed the accrediting capabilities and competencies of the participants. USeP has the second biggest number of delegates, after the Caraga State University with 16 participants during the training.
The participation of USeP to the training-workshop is part of its thrust to imbibe quality assurance and culture. These new USeP AACCUP Accreditors will take part in the Internal Quality Assessment Team (IQuAT) activities in their respective colleges as well as be invited to other accreditation endeavors of AACCUP. These team will now join the seasoned accreditors of USeP in maintaining quality aspects in instruction, research, extension, production, and quality management system.
