As a member of the Communication for Development Network (C4DNet), the communication and advocacy arm of the Regional Development Council XI, the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) supported the Davao Regional Development Plan (DRDP) Roadshow for North Cluster on January 26, 2018 at the Provincial Capitol in Nabunturan, Compostela Valley. The event, which was organized by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), gathered representatives from the media, government agencies, and non-government organizations from Region XI.

Davao del Norte Governor Anthony del Rosario, RDC XI Chairperson, and NEDA Director Maria Lourdes D. Lim, RDC XI Vice Chairperson, facilitated the discussion on the implementation of the Plan.

With the theme Committing to Sustain Change, the Roadshow aims to spur awareness among citizens on the DRDP 2017-2022. To encourage participation among the youth sector, a series of activities highlighting and promoting the DRDP will be conducted in different schools and colleges in Region XI next month.  (USeP PR)
