15 USeP grads top licensure exam for teachers


Fifteen graduates from the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) dominated the list of Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) top passers released by the Professional Regulation Commission on May 23.

For the secondary level, Bachelor of Science in Education students Jireh John Baquiran Arebe (3rd), Kim Torrenueva Dodongan (4th), Rendie Crausos Bedolido (5th), Medelyn Butron Pepito (6th), Vincent Molos Rafols (7th), Shalimar Pedroso Dolar (8th), Juvielle Icoy Valdez (8th), Ivy Baco Balaquinto (10th), and Jimvelle Concon Faustor (10th) were among the topnotchers.

For the elementary level, the top passers include Bachelor of Elementary Education students Diane Opeña Barbarona (4th), Abigail Ortega Diamante (5th), Loren Priagula Sangco (8th), Jane Gammad Yu (8th), Lady Mae Calvo Genosas (9th), and Sheila Marie Sumatra Casas (10th).

The USeP Tagum and Obrero campuses earned overall performance ratings of 79.73% and 40.91%, respectively.

In November 2017, two USeP Education graduates also topped the LET results.

USeP takes pride in producing competent graduates who are versatile and service-oriented, whose leadership and analytical skills make them valuable additions to the workforce, not just in Mindanao, but in national and international industries as well.
