Geographical Description

          The University of Southeastern Philippines at Tagum
City is one of the four campuses that compose the State University
for Region XI, which is popularly known by its acronym, USEP. It is fifty-eight (58) km. from Davao City and three km. east of Tagum City proper. This institution is conveniently situated along the national highway going to Davao Oriental at the central part of Barangay Apokon, City of Tagum,
which is the capital of Davao Province.

          USEP-Tagum has the following neighbors, the DavaoRegional Hospital (DRH) and the Tagum National Trade School (TNTS) along its east border. At its northeastern and western
borders is the Hijo Agricultural Complex.

          Presently, this campus has a total area of 83.5199 hectares
from the original 95.5199 hectares of flatland because eight (8) hectares
was given to Tagum National Trade School and another four (4) was given to the Davao Regional Hospital upon the request of the provincial government to the then administrator, Superintendent Felipe Galleon.
