
Outstanding Special Education Teachers Recognized
Four (4) teachers from Mindanao received national recognition for their Outstanding Educational Programs for Pupils with Visual Impairment during the 7th National Teachers Congress on Visual Impairment on December 4 -7, 2008 at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City. The said awards are given by the Department of Education (DepEd), Resources for the Blind, Inc. (RBI) and Christian Blind Mission (CBM).
USEP to celebrate 30th founding anniversary
On December 15, 1978, Batas Pambansa Bilang 12 was passed, thereby, creating the University of Southeastern Philippines. In celebration of USEP’s pearl anniversary, the University has set nine-day activity-based programs. This will commence on Saturday, December 13.
83% passing in LET makes USEP Tagum top 3 (Category B)
Out of 123 takers, 102 graduates from the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) passed the September 2008 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), placing the University into the 3rd spot of category B (with 100-299 examinees) in the top performing schools nationwide.
