USEP TOP 1 IN EE BOARD EXAM
The University of Southeastern Philippines ranked first among the top performing schools (with 26-50 examinees) in the September 2005 Electrical Engineering Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legaspi. The University obtained a passing percentage of 91.67 which means that 33 out of its 36 examinees passed the board exam. Successful EE board examinees of USEP are: Abelita, Leah Mae; Abueza, Janvier; Alvarado, Mark Lester; Asidoy, Jay; Baliar, Rexil; Basan, Erleen Joy; Botogon, Dexter; Ca-aco, Judith; Caberte, Fritzie; Cagatin, Jay; Cales, Joanabel; Cascabel, Lowell; Catulpos, Samuel Jr.; Contayoso, Mark Alfred; dela Rey, Francis Ely; Echeveria, Emmel; Egos, Patricio Jr.; Gallogo, Juvenal; Gonzaga, Ariel; Ladeza, Rodel; Lee, Mark Honest; Melchor, Jasmin; Nitafan, Janice; Obenza, Dondon; Pelpinosas, Mechelle; Reguindin, Leo Ross; Roldan, Darius; Saldua, Edward; Sasedor, Samuel; Sayon, Phillip; Sioson, Maureen; Suazo, Zandro; and Suringa, Ricardo. Also in September, 14 out of 19 examinees from USEP passed the Master Plumbing Licensure Examination. They are: Cabrera, Feline (8 th placer); Bilog, Frederick; Botoy, Sason; Cabaña, William; Caderao, Edever; Creta, Paul Joseph; Rebote, Gene Robert; Gomez, Glicerio Jr.; Jainar, Cherry Gay; Luna, Florivic; Pancito, Lilybelle Marie; Perpetua, Marielito; Pranilla, Ruel; and Resma, Renato Jr. The first placer of the same board exam, Engr. Florencio S. Chua is currently a Civil Engineering faculty of the USEP College of Engineering. Last month, USEP-Tagum campus ranked 4 th among the top-performing schools (with 10 or more examinees) in the Agricultural Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Agricultural Engineering in Manila. Fifteen out of 18 examinees from the said campus passed the board exam. Two of the 15 board passers made it to the top ten. They are: Jeony Narit Quinaso, 4 th placer and Jandy Bañez Moreno, 8 th placer. Other successful AE board examinees of the University are the following: Alcoser, Gerry; Bedua, Wesly; Cabacongan, Joel; Cimeni, Christine; Gonio, Raymond; Helarion, Decster; Malalis, Joan; Mentero, Byrne; Persigas, Jesly; Rivas, Antonio; Socorro, Mark Anthony; Torres, Charles; and Yalda, Dennis. For all these achievements, much credit was given to the faculty of the College of Engineering in Obrero campus headed by its Dean, Engr.
