During the first day of classes, faculty members should check the registration certificate of their students. Students who are not officially enrolled must not be allowed to attend his/her class.


A student is considered officially enrolled only after the University/Campus Registrar has duly certified the enrollment on the registration certificate.


The class list, issued by the College/Academic Unit, provides the name of students, regular or irregular, who are officially enrolled in a course. Faculty members should get the official class list from the Deans office on the first day of classes.


Moreover, faculty members should orient the students about the Vision and Mission of the University. Likewise, course objectives, contents, requirements, and the bases for evaluating student’s performance shall be explained to them. The students must be provided with a copy of the course syllabus/outline.
