
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has identified the University of Southeastern Philippines as a Center of Excellence (COE) for Teacher Education.
Constituted by virtue of Administrative Order No. 4, s. 2010, the Special Management Committee (SMC) for the Implementation of the University Strategic Plan (SP) convened on July 14, 2010. The SMC chaired by Dr. Perfecto A. Alibin, President, is composed of four clusters – Administrative, Academic, RDE, and Production.
The University of Southeastern Philippines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Goethe-Institut in Manila to develop cooperation on the basis of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit in the propagation of the German language and culture and to promote relations and mutual understanding between the two institutions.
The team of Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) trainers from India have come to Davao City to train the trainers in the Philippines for a project on women empowerment. This undertaking which is a partnership of the University of Southeastern Philippines and The World Bank will provide skills training to village women via specialized communication tools to increase their financial literacy and encourage savings or self-employment.
