In the last few decades, the environment and opinions on graduate school programs have shifted substantially. To fulfill the demands of globalization, regional integration, internationalization of higher education, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, new or enhanced competencies among students should be addressed.<\/div>\n

As part of the process of revising graduate school programs, the College of Applied Economics (CAEc) held a Stakeholder Consultation with public and private institutions, alumni, and graduate schools last April 22-23, 2022 at the USeP Social Hall. The Stakeholder Consultation was conducted to present the proposed MS Economics and MS Econometrics curriculum to our key stakeholders and get their feedback and suggestions for finalizing the proposed curriculum.<\/div>\n

Seven academic institutions, eleven public institutions, and one private corporation participated both on-site and online.<\/div>\n
Program attributes on entrepreneurial spirit or mindset, as well as the incorporation of policy research throughout course work, were suggested by stakeholders.<\/div>\n
