Dr. Irma Tandingan de Ley, a Balik Scientist Program (BSP) fellow under the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), successfully presented her accomplishments during the DOST Balik Scientist Exit Conference Program held at the TLE Building, University of Southeastern Philippines, on December 12, 2024.<\/p>\n
Over the course of one year, Dr. Tandingan de Ley shared her expertise in nematode biodiversity and biological pest control through research fora and hands-on experimentation with partner institutions.<\/p>\n
Prior to the exit conference program, a team from DOST-PCAARRD visited the Instrumentation Laboratory and Science Building at the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).<\/p>\n
Present during the conference were the USeP Top Management Team, led by Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales Jr.; Dr. Marnie Grace I. Sonico, Dean of CAS; Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, President of Davao del Sur State College; Dr. Fezoil Luz C. Decena, DOST-PCAARRD Institution Development Division (IDD) Director; and Dr. Kenneth D.
