The participants were the different Barangay Council for Women Purok Leaders. The program started with a Welcome Remarks by Barangay Centro’s (San Juan) Punong Barangay, Hon. Rene I. Estorpe. He inspired the attendees about the long-term benefit of this activity. He highlighted that it will empower the women, their partners, and their children.<\/div>\n

Simultaneous focus group discussion sessions were held: one for the new participants facilitated by Dr. Daisy Besing and Dr. Xennie Tupas and one for those with completed business plans from the previous batch facilitated by Dr. Eugene Bije and Dr. Edeliza Gonzales. Dr. Rosfe Corlae Badoy, Dr. Nowa Cyhryl Balderas, and Ms. Jennifer Paden assisted in the conduct of the FGDs.<\/div>\n

The activity was indeed a success. The specific needs were identified, noted, and presented. The project management team headed by the Program leader Dr. Rosfe Corlae Badoy will now prepare the training design to address the needs of the womenpreneurs.<\/div>\n
