Competing against student performers from various state universities and colleges across the region, the USeP College of Education dance team secured \ud835\uddd9\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddff\ud835\ude00\ud835\ude01 \ud835\udde5\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff-\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddfd \ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfb \ud835\udddc\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf1\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddf4\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddfc\ud835\ude02\ud835\ude00 \ud835\uddd7\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddf2, presenting a powerful performance that celebrated cultural heritage through expressive choreography, vibrant movements, and traditional storytelling.<\/p>\n
The team also demonstrated versatility and energy in the \ud835\udde6\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf1\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddf2 \ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf4\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddff\ud835\ude06, delivering a dynamic, synchronized routine that placed them \ud835\udde7\ud835\uddf5\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf1 \ud835\udde5\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff-\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddfd in the competition.<\/p>\n
The dancers were guided by Dr. Benjie Q. Badon, Dance Arts Coordinator of the University, with support from Leah Tajale, trainer for Indigenous Dance, and Neil Guyo and Fe Paradero, trainers for Streetdance. The Sahaya Dance Collective is led by its president, Julius Cesar Ricarte, whose leadership and dedication, along with the coaching team, prepared the dancers for the highly competitive festival.<\/p>\n
The achievements of the CEd dance team from Sahaya Dance Collective highlight the college\u2019s continued commitment to developing students\u2019 talents not only in academics but also in culture and the arts, promoting holistic learning, creativity, and cultural appreciation among future educators.
