The virtual activity was participated by BPEd-2 students where they presented the different faces of personal and societal struggles through performance arts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Lecture Recital was the capstone project of the undergraduate students of the BPEd program in their academic subjects with at least two months of tedious preparation. This includes a research proposal on their chosen performances which could be a performance and analysis, performance practice, and pedagogy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Despite the unconventional set-up where students had to perform in front of a camera remotely, the students showcased their knowledge on their subjects Movement Education (PEd211) and Applied Motor Control and Learning of Exercise, Sports and Dance (PEd213). The seven researched-based performances were anchored on one of the disciplines of Music, Arts, Dance, Theater, Health, Sports and Exercise and were all linked to the fundamental concepts of motor control and learning, as well as the basic foundations of Neuroanatomy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Under the supervision and expertise of their subject teachers, Asst. Prof. Alshamir Bryan B. Aripuddin and Asst. Prof. Susan D. Villarente, entries with stand out performances were given award distinctions: Best Lecture Recital, \u201cI Am Whole: The Life and Struggles of Persons with Disability,\u201d Best Performance, \u201cParentless Students: Journey of Solo Smiles and Sobs,\u201d and Best Presenter, \u201cDomestic Violence during Pandemic.\u201d Meritorious distinction of Panelists\u2019 Choice Awards as Best Performer and Best Reporter were awarded to Mr. John Loyd Dela Cerna and Ms. Jeanica P. Escobal, respectively. The awardees were given cash prizes. All their performances were streamed live on Facebook and could be accessed on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The BPEd-2 performing students capped the lecture recital with excellence and pride as the College successfully proved that a pandemic cannot hinder quality education. #<\/p>\n<p><a
