Students of the Geodetic Engineering Program placed \ud835\uddd9\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddff\ud835\ude00\ud835\ude01 \ud835\udde5\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff \ud835\udde8\ud835\uddfd in the Quiz Bowl Event “\ud835\uddda\ud835\uddd8 \ud835\uddde\ud835\uddee \ud835\udde1\ud835\uddee \ud835\uddd5\ud835\uddee?” during the Geodetic Engineering Students Conference held at the UP Film Institute, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, last May 08, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

USeP was represented by three fourth-year students- Jasmine Joyce Mamawal, Joshua Carl Mari Fajardo, and Ryan Keith Mosquera, dubbed as “Team GESS”. The trio clutched their skills in quick analysis of questions in the fields of Laws on Property, Cartography, Geodesy, Mathematics, and Geodetic Engineering’s Theory and Practice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The elimination round was divided into Easy, Average, and Difficult Levels. Team GESS placed third in the easy and average levels with 16 and 28 points, respectively. Upon the culmination of the Elimination Round, the trio advanced to the Final Round, along with four other institutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The nerve-racking Final Round had a set of rules. The correct answer is equivalent to five (5) points, the wrong answer results in a deduction of 2.5 points, and no answer would indicate a deduction of one (1) point from the total accumulated scores at the beginning of this round.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
