Pursuant to its regulatory function, the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering inspected and monitored the University of Southeastern Philippines\u2019 Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering (BSABE) program last October 2, 2023. The inspection and monitoring team was composed of PRB Members, Engr. Sherwin O. Valdez and Engr. Caesar Joventino M. Tado together with PRC Region XI Representative, Tomasito M. Demegillo Jr.<\/div>\n

The team reviewed the BSABE Program faculty roster- particularly their qualifications, credentials, duties, and responsibilities. They also conducted an observation of the conditions affecting the practice of the profession, including the facilities and equipment, checking compliance with the professional and ethical standards of practice of the profession, and checking compliance with the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements of the PRC, CHED, and other relevant government agencies.<\/div>\n

This Inspection and Monitoring initiative aligns with Section 9(b) of R.A. 8981, also known as the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, and R.A. 10915, also known as “Philippine Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Act of 2016”.<\/div>\n
