Hosted by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), the biennial event gathered students from various countries, including Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India, to discuss advancements in sustainable agriculture and technological solutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Representing USeP\u2019s Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, <strong>Mr. Dan Joseph B. Kenny<\/strong> and <strong>Mr. Nethanel A. Moraga<\/strong> delivered notable research presentations. Mr. Kenny was awarded Best Presenter for his study, <strong>&#8220;Evaporative and Conductive Cooling Systems to Mitigate Heat Stress in Broiler Production under Tropical Conditions,&#8221;<\/strong> which explored the efficiency of various cooling methods for poultry farming. Meanwhile, Mr. Moraga presented an abstract on &#8220;<strong>LED Light Extension on the Growth of Hydroponic Lettuce<em> (Lactuca sativa)<\/em> in Deep Water Culture,&#8221;<\/strong> examining the effects of photoperiod and light spectrum on plant development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Their participation underscored the USeP College of Engineering\u2019s commitment to fostering research and innovation in agricultural technology.
