Last August 26-28, 2025, Atty. Arlene M. Lorejo-Cosape, Dean of the School of Law, and Atty. Imma Coney P. Olayan, Center Manager of the SoL Mindanao Law and Peace Resource Institute (MiLawPRI) participated in the two-day Onboarding Session for Healthy Learning Institutions (HLIs) aimed at advancing health promotion within Legal Education Institutions (LEIs) across the country.<\/p>\n

The onboarding featured modules and workshops designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to integrate the Healthy Learning Institution framework into legal education. The sessions further highlighted strategies for fostering health-promoting, inclusive, and sustainable learning environments\u2014recognizing the unique challenges faced by law schools and their students.<\/p>\n

The event gathered law deans, representatives from various LEIs, and officials from Center for Health Development (CHD). Through the program, participants were provided with clear implementation guidelines to align institutional policies with the HLI standards developed under the DOH\u2013LEB partnership. <\/p>\n

The HLI Initiative is designed to provide framework, direction, and strategies, for the planning, development, and implementation of health promotion policies and programs of various institutions. <\/p>\n
