clear: both; width:100%;\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"smc-creation-and-mandate\" class=\"kc-elm kc-css-898847 kc_tab ui-tabs-panel kc_ui-tabs-hide kc_clearfix \"><div class=\"kc_tab_content\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-562281 kc_row kc_row_inner\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-402747 kc_col-sm-12 kc_column_inner kc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"kc_wrapper kc-col-inner-container\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-173274 kc_text_block\"><p><strong>Special Management Committee for the Implementation of the USEP Strategic Plan<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>(Constituted by virtue of Administrative Order No. 04, s. 2010 dated April 27, 2010)<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-25773 kc_text_block\"><p><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\">General Functions of the Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides policy direction and support to USEP Strategic Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Approves proposed plans, programs and projects based on the strategic plan.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares project designs, annual Strategic Plan program and budget.<\/li>\n<li>Provides updates to the Board of Regents.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates the conduct of Strategic Plan activities.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates the conduct of training and other capability building activities to enhance change management competence of stakeholders concerned.<\/li>\n<li>Taps the services of the Public Information Office for its communication needs.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related functions as mandated by the University President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Functions of the Administrative Cluster<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designs and implements strategies and activities pertaining to the following areas of concern: Administration and Institution; Physical Plant and Facilities; Human Resource Development; and Financial Resources.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes participation of various stakeholders in the implementation of the plan\u2019s strategies and activities for the areas of concern outlined earlier.<\/li>\n<li>Provides regular updates to the University President on the various activities conducted.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related functions as mandated by the University President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Functions of the Academic Cluster<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designs and implements strategies and activities pertaining to the following areas of concern: Academic Programs, Curriculum, and Instruction; Student Services; and Library Services.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes participation of various stakeholders in the implementation of the plan\u2019s strategies and activities for the areas of concern outlined earlier.<\/li>\n<li>Provides regular updates to the University President on the various activities conducted.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related functions as mandated by the University President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Functions of the Research, Development and Extension (RDE) Cluster<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designs and implements strategies and activities pertaining to the Research, Development and Extension programs of the University.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes participation of various stakeholders in the implementation of the plan\u2019s strategies and activities for the areas of concern outlined earlier.<\/li>\n<li>Provides regular updates to the University President on the various activities conducted.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related functions as mandated by the University President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Functions of the Production Cluster<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designs and implements strategies and activities pertaining to the production and income-generating programs and projects of the University.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes participation of various stakeholders in the implementation of the plan\u2019s strategies and activities for the area of concern outlined earlier.<\/li>\n<li>Provides regular updates to the University President on the various activities conducted.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related functions as mandated by the University President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-385363\" style=\"height: 80px;
