The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) lands 20th in the uniRank’s 2021 Philippine University ranking, a step-up from being 23rd in the 2019 list, while maintaining its rank in the Davao Region.
231 Philippine higher education institutions (both private and public) were evaluated this year compared to 231 of 2019, meeting the UniRank’s selection criteria, to wit: being chartered, licensed, or accredited by appropriate Philippine higher education-related organization, offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees), and delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format.
According to its official website, UniRank University Ranking aims to provide a non-academic League Table of the top Philippine Universities based on valid, unbiased, and non-influenceable web metrics provided by independent web intelligence sources rather than data submitted by the Universities included in their list. The ranking is an approximation based on the web presence and popularity in terms of estimated traffic, trust/authority, and quality link.
The ranking is intended to help international students and academic staff to understand how popular a specific University or College is in a foreign country.
uniRank™ is the leading international higher education directory and search engine featuring reviews and rankings of over 13,800 officially recognized Universities and Colleges in 200 countries.
