No more traditional f2f: USeP to strategize on interactive remote learning

The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), through the joint efforts of Mindanao eLearning Space (MiSpace) and the Curriculum and Instruction Office (CIO), organized a  Webinar Series on Designing Interactive and Engaging Strategies in Managing Synchronous and Asynchronous Classes for Remote Learning on August 18-20, 2021, via Zoom.

The said webinar series aims to capacitate and equip the University with the principles, strategies, and educational approaches in managing classes via synchronous and asynchronous learning modes.

It can be recalled that the University has adopted and implemented the use of coursepacks, full-online learning delivery approach, and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and other learning modalities since the advent of the COVID-19.

With the present form of synchronous and asynchronous classes in tide with the improvements of technology applicable to online teaching and synchronous instructions, the University continues to aim for an increased student interaction – that is congruent to improved student satisfaction.

Participants of the webinar explored different interactive open-sourced applications and educational technology tools that improve lessons derived from modules and course packs.

MiSpace envisions to become a sustainable, self-funding unit within the University of Southeastern Philippines producing quality e-Learning products for USeP, DepEd, and selected clients across the Philippines, and to be recognized as a Philippine center of quality e-Learning development, and efficient and effective delivery.
