As USeP continues to adopt the national budgeting system which aims to improve the efficiency of underlying processes like planning, procurement, cash management, and payment systems, the University conducts a Budget Review and Consultation on February 12, 2024, at the University Social Hall, USeP-Obrero, Davao City.
The orientation aims to ensure the implementation readiness of proposals through better procurement planning, programming of projects and activities, and coordination among colleges and offices.
Moreover, holding a forum to tackle the FY 2025 ensures that the University budget proposal is consistent with the priorities and policy directions of the current administration as embodied in the 8-point Socioeconomic Agenda and the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2023-2028; priority programs and projects outlined in the FY 2023-2028 Public Investment Program (PIP) and FY 2025-2027 Three-Year Rolling Infrastructure Program (TRIP); Regional Development Council XI priority PAPs; USeP Strategic Plan 2022-2027; USeP Institutional Development Plan 2025-2027; USeP 6-point priority agenda; Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan 2022-2031; and Program accreditation, assessment, and certification requirements.
