Eight College of Applied Economics Undergraduate Students Impress with Research Studies at 2nd CAEc-SERDAC LEARN Research Conference
The first day of the 2nd CAEc-SERDAC LEARN Research Conference was a success, with eight fourth year undergraduate students from the College of Applied Economics (CAEc) presenting their research studies. The students, who are all majoring in Resource and Environmental Economics (REE), Monetary and Financial Economics (MFE), or Development Economics (DE), impressed the audience with their insights and dedication to their research.
The panelists for the conference were Dr. Sophremiano B. Antipolo, Dr. Purisima G. Bayacag, and Dr. Silverio V. Magallon, Jr. All three panelists are respected economists and researchers, and their feedback and insights were invaluable to the students.
The conference, which is themed "Together we LEARN!: Leading Economic Recovery through Academic Research Navigation," aims to empower CAEc faculty and students to produce high-quality evidence-based policy research. It also serves as a platform for researchers at the undergraduate and graduate levels to present their completed studies and keep them updated on current economic issues and challenges.
