Dr. David J. Kendall, Associate Professor of Music at the La Sierra University in Riverside, California, United States of America, visited the Institute of Languages and Creative Arts and the Language and Literature Department of the College of Arts and Sciences on April 20, 2023.
Dr. Kendall is passionate about the Spanish colonial music in the Philippines. He authored โThe Music of the Spheres in the Western Imagination,โ recently published by Lexington Books.
Dr. Kendall conversed with Associate Professor Sajed S. Ingilan, Director of Institute of Languages and Creative Arts and Assistant Professor Angelo Lenard E. Yu, Program Head of Bachelor of Literary and Cultural Studies and Master of Arts in Literature about the possible conduct of โSeminar on Literature and Musicโ on the 2nd week of May, 2023 at USeP.
Dr. Kendall also accepted the invitation to become one of the International Advisers of Southeastern Philippines Journal of Research and Development (SPJRD), which collaboration advances the USeP community towards its aim to become a premiere research university in the ASEAN and beyond.
