The sports activities facilitated by the USeP – Malabog Extension Campus (MEC) Local Council headed by Mr. Ruel Arthur IV A. Ali, Governor; Ms. Arnheda B. Estrada, Vice Governor; Ms. Maria Angelica T. Pilapil, Secretary; Ms. Prences Jean L. Aranilla, Treasurer; and Mr. Reden R. Panla-an, Auditor concluded with an awarding ceremony. The event that took place on December 11-13, 2024 celebrated the outstanding achievements of students in various sports events.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Rolen A. Bocog, Campus Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and supporters.

The event also featured a series of inspiring speeches from distinguished guests, including Dr. Reynaldo F. Manila, the School Principal of Paquibato National High School, and Mr. Aldwin Sagabaen, RN, the Head of Paquibato Health Center. They shared their unique insights on the importance of empowering Indigenous Peoples and enhancing the well-being of their communities.

Dr. Manila spoke passionately about the role of education in uplifting Indigenous youth, emphasizing that access to quality education is vital for breaking cycles of poverty and promoting cultural pride among students. For his part, Mr. Sagabaen assured their commitment to provide quality healthcare services within the area.
