
The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) participated in the 21st General Assembly of the Davao Association of Colleges and Universities Network (DACUN) held on July 17, 2025, at the University of the Immaculate Conception, Bajada Campus, Davao City.
With the theme “Strengthening Roots, Reaching New Heights: DACUN’s Journey,” the assembly served as a venue to highlight the achievements of member institutions, foster collaboration, and discuss future directions for higher education in the region.
USeP was represented by University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr., along with Extension Division Director Roby B. Pagong, Continuing Education Center Director Velouna Perez, Office of Student Affairs and Services Director Dr. Jose Alther M. Rivera, University Learning Resource Center Director Dr. Maychelle M. Nugas, Curriculum and Instruction Office Director Dr. Genna J. Carmelo, Expanded Tertiary Education, Equivalency, and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Jocelyn B. Dofitas, and Public Affairs Division Officer-in-Charge Dr. Lilibeth A. Cenojas.
The event featured an inspirational message from CHED Regional Office XI Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, represented by Supervising Education Program Specialist Christopher Pio O. Pulido. DACUN President Vicente Antonio V. Pijano III also delivered the President’s Report, outlining the network’s accomplishments and ongoing initiatives.
USeP’s participation affirms its continuing support for DACUN’s efforts to advance academic excellence and institutional cooperation in the Davao Region.
