The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) through the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Division (KTTD) is mandated to translate ideas that emerge from research into a marketable solution. It further pays attention to the scope of commercialization of new knowledge and technological innovation.
Engr. Filmann T. Simpao tackled the importance of Technology Commercialization and the Technology Assessment using the Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International ICANASS Tool, which can help the faculty researchers better understand the commercial maturity of their respective technology-based research, while enabling them in developing reliable, useful interpretations of the assessment data.
These technologies can also improve feedback delivery effectiveness, providing faculty researchers more time to concentrate on the relevant research agenda and commercialization of the University.
