Sports coordinators and coaches from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Region XI gathered at the 2nd PASUC Regional Coaches’ Forum on November 9-10, 2018 at the Regency Inn, Villa Abrille St., Davao City.
The Forum, which aims to equip coaches with skills on Science-based approach training, was organized to spur awareness on injury prevention, sports rehabilitation, and the ethical standards in coaching.
Resource speakers who attended the Forum include Noil Ayo, Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) Athletic Director; Rioliza Molina, University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) Gender and Development Office Focal Person; Louise Karen Plaza, AdDU Special Projects Coordinator; Jose Alther Rivera, Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) XI Sports Director; Kris Mishael Junasa, Davao del Norte Sports Science Officer; Dr. Paolo Alan B. Tabar, Orthopedic Surgeon, Tabar Orthopedics; and Edward Manteza, Physical Therapist, Top Kinesio Physical Therapy and Sports Habilitation.
Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao, USeP President and PASUC XI Chairperson, also graced the Forum’s Opening Program.
