The thanksgiving ritual performed by a Matigsalug elder at the USeP –Pamulaan Center amphitheater.
Bahagi na ng pamumuhay ng mga Matigsalog Manobo ang pagpapasalamat kay Manama para sa maunlad na komunidad. Ang binanog ay karaniwang sinasayaw ng mga tribong Matigsalog Manobo kapag sila ay may pagtitipon o sa tuwing may panauhin sa kanilang komunidad. Ito ay sumisimbolo ng isang pamayanan o tribo na bukas at may pagkakaisa.
A Tribute to the Elders at the Living Heritage Center. Ito ay isang pagtatanghal, na magpapakita ng pasasalamat, mula sa ating mga magsisipag-tapos, para sa kanilang mga magulang, community elders, at mga ka-tribo.
The candidates for graduation presented by the Dean of the College of Education, DR. REYNALDO M. NOGODULA, and the Dean of the College of Business Administration, DR. EDELIZA S. GONZALES to be confirmed by the University President, DR. LOURDES C. GENERALAO.
Conferment of Degrees by the University President, DR. LOURDES C. GENERALAO. Fifty-six (56) indigenous youths successfully completed the Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship programs of the USeP-Pamulaan Center for Indigenous Peoples’ Education. In her message to the graduates, the University President reminded them to be of good faith and take heart as the journey that awaits them may be tough. The USeP President also encouraged the graduates to “Let your grateful hearts be an instrument for your communities to see and experience the joy of education”.
Special Awards are also given by USeP – Pamulaan Center for Indigenous Peoples Education (PCIPE) to the graduates in recognition of the efforts to in the promotion of culture and community service. The awards presenters are Dr. LOURDES C. GENERALAO, President of the University, and Ms. Victoria Elisa Aquino Dee, Assisi Development Foundation Board of Trustee.
Chairs of Pamulaan Steering Committee: University President, Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao, and Ms Victoria Elisa Aquino Dee presented the Certificate of Appreciation and the Medal of Honor to the Commencement Speaker and this year’s Galingka Awardee, Ms. Jenita Eko, LASSIWAI Organization Founder.
In recognition to the graduates, who consistently shown excellence in their studies, the University is giving the Academic awards. The award presenters are: Dr. Lourdes Generalao, President of the University; Dr. Shirley Villanueva, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Edeliza Gonzales, Dean, College of Business Administration; Dr. Eulalio Patayon, Dean, College of Development Management; and Dr. Reynaldo M. Nogodula, Dean, College of Education.
