USeP concludes 2nd remote AACCUP Accreditation


The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) has concluded its 2nd remote AACCUP Accreditation through the closing program last November 27, 2020 via Zoom.

Dr. Bonifacio Gabales, Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs, during his opening message, expressed his gratitude to all USeP faculty and staff as well as the accrediting team for the efforts they have continuously rendered despite battling with struggles caused by the pandemic. Dr. Gabales stressed that the closing program marks the beginning of a new journey toward achieving one of the goals of the University which is providing quality education.

After hearing the accreditation impressions given by the AACCUP Accreditation team leaders, Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao, University President, expressed her commitment toward the activity. Dr. Generalao expressed her appreciation to all faculty and staff for proving that the USeP community consists of adaptive individuals despite the challenges in doing things virtually. She assured that the USeP community will remain committed and devoted towards its goals in providing its stakeholders with quality education.

Expressing its warmest appreciation to the people who have served as evaluators during the 2nd remote AACCUP Accreditation, the University presented the certificates of appreciation to the accrediting team.

Mr. Henry C. Encabo, Director of the Quality Assurance Division (QAD), officially closed the event with his motivating words. Mr. Encabo said that the conclusion of the 2nd remote AACCUP accreditation marks the beginning of another step in QAD. He thanked the accrediting team and the administration for the full support they have given during the activity.

The 2nd remote AACCUP Accreditation began last November 23, 2020.
