The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) joins the nation in celebrating the 20th Development Policy Research Month (DPRM), led by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS).

DPRM is celebrated every September by virtue of Proclamation No. 247 aiming to highlight the critical role of policy research in the socioeconomic advancement of the Philippines.

This year’s theme, “#CloseTheGap: Accelerate Post-Pandemic Recovery through Social Justice” or “#AlisinAngAgwat: Pabilisin ang Pag-ahon Mula sa Pandemya sa Pamamagitan ng Katarungang Panlipunan”, underscores the importance of making social justice a guiding principle of the countryā€™s post-pandemic recovery plan, particularly in three areas: human capital development and social protection, public health services and infrastructure, and environmental resilience.

For more details, you may visit the DPRM website at https://dprm.pids.gov.ph/ or like and follow the PIDSā€™ official Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/PIDS.PH/.
