The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) Data Privacy Officer (DPO) and Deputy Director of the Office of Legal Affairs – University Data Privacy Office (OLA-UDPO), Asst. Prof. Karlo Martin C. Caramugan, delivered an insightful presentation about RA10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012. The activity took place during the 1st Bureau of Local Government Finance Region XI (BLGF XI) and the Regional Association of Treasurers and Assessors Inc. Region XI (REGATA XI) Joint Conference for CY 2023 on June 15, 2023, at the Grand Men Seng Hotel.

Mr. Caramugan shed light on RA 10173 and shared USeP’s exemplary practices in integrating the said Act into the University operations.
