The Public Affairs Division (PAD) of the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) organized a comprehensive University webpage management training-workshop aimed at enhancing the skills of Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Handlers, Research Center Managers, and College Research and Development Heads on July 4, 2023 at the RDE Conference Room, USeP Obrero Campus, Davao City.
The primary objective of this activity is to empower the participants with the necessary skills and tools for effectively managing and publishing content on their respective webpages. The training focused on improving the University’s online presence and branding by providing harmonized contents.
Dr. Eleonor T. Guden, Research and Development Division Director, warmly welcomed the participants and expressed her gratitude to the PAD for initiating this valuable training opportunity. She emphasized that the Division, with the assistance of PAD, aims to provide a more engaging and updated informative presentation of RDE-related activities to the public through the University website.
Prior to the commencement of the training, Dr. Rosfe Corlae D. Badoy, PAD Director, highlighted the significance of the training and its potential impact on the participants’ respective offices. This underlined the importance of maximizing the training’s output.
The training session was facilitated by Ms. Virgithe Angelique C. Alfaro, PAD Development Communication Staff whose expertise, among other things, is managing University webpages. Ms. Alfaro shared her wealth of knowledge and experience, guiding the participants through various aspects of the salient functionalities of the University webpages.

The Webpage Training-Workshop conducted by USeP PAD signifies the University’s commitment to fostering effective communication channels and harnessing the power of the digital realm to enhance its image and engagement with the public. With the newly acquired knowledge, the RDE Handlers, Research Center Managers, and College Research and Development Heads are now better equipped to showcase their work and contribute to the University’s overall branding and visibility.
