USeP commits to a safe, healthy workplace; conducts seminar on OSH

At USeP, we build dreams in a safe and healthy workplace.

In consonance with the provisions outlined for state universities and colleges (SUCs) in the Civil Service Commission (CSC), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 1, series of 2020 on the Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards for the Public Sector, the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) conducts a uniwide Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Seminar on August 2-4, 2023.

More than a part of the compliance with the said JMC, the University demonstrates its commitment to fostering a safe and healthy working environment for the members of the community- its employees- regardless of their employment status including agency, job order, and contract of service workers- through the seminar which also serves as a crucial step towards safeguarding the well-being of each member of the USeP community.

The seminar provided essential information and education about occupational safety and health standards in the public sector to ensure the preservation of human lives, resources, and the prevention of loss or damage to properties; and contribute to the improvement and sustainability of the University’s Occupational Safety and Health Program.

On August 2, 2023, the USeP- Tagum Mabini Campus, held its OSH Seminar spearheaded by the Health Service Division (HSD) through the Campus Clinic at the Physical Education and Cultural Center (PECC), Brgy. Apokon, Tagum City.
