The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), through its Knowledge and Technology Transfer Division (KTTD), has been awarded the prestigious Platinum Award in the 2023 Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) 2.0 Clustering Program of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) during the 2024 ITSO President’s Summit on March 18, 2024, in Dusit Thani Manila, Makati City.

The Platinum award is the highest distinction awarded by the IPOPHL exclusively to the country’s top and high-performing Innovation and Technology Support Offices (ITSO) 2.0 Clustering deliverables for 2023. The award is based on the performance of the number of IP Foundation courses conducted, the number of patent searches, the number of inventions filed, and the number of commercialized IP-protected inventions or technology.

Present to receive the award were University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr; USeP Vice President for Research, Development and Extension, Dr. Roger C. Montepio; and KTTD Director, Dr. Karl P. Campos.
