USeP collabs with DPPF for livelihood initiative for PDLs

The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) through the Resource Management Division (RMD) has formalized its partnership with Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF), a constituent unit of the Bureau of Corrections, through a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on August 7, 2024.

The MoA between USeP and DPPF details the collaborative initiative for a livelihood program benefiting Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) while sustaining the income generation of both parties.

The DPPF through the livelihood program for PDLs will supply and sell to USeP handicrafts and other products which the latter will procure, market, and sell to prospective clients as tokens or souvenir items.
