USeP climbs from 38th to 22nd spot in 2024 UniRank assessment


The University of Southeastern Philippines has climbed to the 22nd place out of 234 higher education institutions in the Philippines, while maintaining the 3rd spot in the Davao Region, according to UniRank’s Top Philippine Universities 2024 edition.

This significant jump from last year’s 38th spot underscores USeP’s strong commitment to academic excellence and the attainment of its vision of becoming a research University that transforms lives and communities in the ASEAN and beyond.

uniRank is a global ranking system that ranks universities and colleges based on their web presence and popularity in terms of estimated traffic, domain trust, authority, and quality link to popularity. uniRank uses valid, unbiased, and non-influenceable web metrics from independent web intelligence sources to provide approximate ranking results instead of the submitted data by the universities.

This ranking system selected the universities and colleges based on the following criteria: chartered, licensed, or accredited by the appropriate Philippine higher education-related organization, offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees or postgraduate degrees, and delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format.
The ranking is intended to help international students and academic staff understand how popular a specific university or college is in a foreign country.
