In line with the 47th Founding Anniversary, the joint Government Service Awarding Ceremony (GSAC) and Faculty Excellence Awards (FEA) was held on December 17, 2025, at the University Gymnasium and Cultural Center (UGCC), USeP Obrero Campus, recognizing the dedication and achievements of faculty members and non-teaching personnel.
University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr. opened the program with a message of appreciation, highlighting the quiet yet vital contributions of employees whose daily work sustains the University. He emphasized that public service is defined not only by visibility but by consistency, integrity, and care for the people served, and congratulated the 2025 Government Service Awardees for the quality and impact of their years of service.
Delivering the inspirational message, Civil Service Commission Regional Office XI Director III Atty. Venus O. Bumanlag underscored that public trust must be earned every day through integrity and excellence. She noted that the awards honor not only length of service but also the true spirit of being a lingkod bayan who serves with heart, dignity, and competence.
The ceremony recognized Loyalty Awardees for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service, acknowledging their sustained commitment to public service. The awarding of the Certificate of Registration for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) to the USeP Management and the USeP Non-Teaching Staff Association highlighted continued cooperation within the University, followed by the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan led by Human Resource Management Division Director Ms. Patricia Angela T. Del Rio.
Following the GSAC, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension Dr. Roger C. Montepio introduced the Faculty Excellence Awards (FEA), which recognized outstanding faculty achievements in extension, research, innovation, and publication. The FEA formally honored for contributions that advance the University’s academic mission and societal impact.
Closing the program, Vice President for Administration Dr. Maria Luisa B. Faunillan, congratulated the awardees and acknowledged the collective efforts of faculty, staff, and organizing units.
