The College of Agriculture and Related Sciences (CARS) is the leading higher learning institution in agriculture, forestry, and environmental and resource management in the Davao region. A Center of Excellence in Agriculture and a Center of Development in Forestry, the College offers undergraduate and graduate academic programs in agriculture, forestry, and environmental and resource management that advocate sustainable, adaptive, and industry-driven approaches and technologies.

At the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences (CARS), we are committed to providing our students with a world-class education that prepares our students for the challenges and opportunities in the field of agriculture, forestry, and environmental and resource management (ERM). The College is comprised of three (3) academic departments, the Department of Agricultural Sciences (DAS), the Department of Forestry (DOF), and the Graduate School of Agriculture and Related Sciences.

The College of Agriculture and Related Sciences (CARS) is dedicated to achieving the highest possible educational excellence and global quality standards.

In light of this, the College shall:

a. provide effective governance and high-quality instruction in accordance with the total quality management system based on national and international standards;

b. foster a culture of research in the area of agriculture and fishery, biosystems engineering, agri-based food processing, forestry, and natural resources that is congruent with the overall mission of the university;

c. contribute significantly economically uplifting  student and faculty research-based technology to sustainable development and community transformation;

d. respond to the demands and challenges of production by engaging in intellectual activity and producing creative works.
