The orientation aimed to orient the students, especially the first-year students, about the College’s faculty members, staff, services, academic and non-academic policies, research agenda of the College, thesis, dissertation, and election of officers per program.

The meeting was attended by the Graduate School resident faculty members and visiting faculty members of the College. Dr. Aristeo C. Salapa, the dean of the College, welcomed everyone for this new academic year.

In the afternoon, Dr. Eulalio C. Patayon, SSGA Adviser, officiated the oath-taking of the newly elected SSGA officers. At the same time, concerned faculty and currently enrolled students in Thesis/Dissertation Writing participated in the Thesis/Dissertation Writing Orientation at CDM Library. The concept paper and TDAC composition were discussed by Dr. Mervin G. Gascon, OIC Associate Dean of the College and Program Head of the Ph.D. program. Dr. Cherelyn P. Campaña, Dr. Silverio Magallon, Jr., and Dr. Gaudencio G. Abellanosa discussed the guidelines of the manuscript. Dr. Velouna R. Perez spearheaded the open forum and schedule of oral presentations.
