This publication highlights the valuable contributions of Indigenous peoples in the Davao Region, Philippines, towards disaster management, particularly in the face of climate change. Sponsored by a grant from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), this research documents the knowledge of eight Indigenous groups gathered between August 2021 and July 2022.
With the support of the eight ICCs/IPs in the Davao Region and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Region XI, together with the reviews and expertise of our international partners Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rodney C. Jubilado of the University of Hawaii – Hilo and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aurelio S. Agcaoili of the University of Hawaii – Manoa, and the support of USeP officials, the project is now a success!
