As Dean, it is a privilege to lead and be part of a community committed to academic excellence innovation, and transformative and impactful research. Our Graduate School implements policies and offers programs as amended in CMO 15, s. 2019, incorporating advanced academic programs and services that align with USeP’s mission, vision, goals, and core values.
Our goal is to empower the next generation of scholars, researchers, and entrepreneurs and to train and support them to develop advanced skills and excellence to transform communities in ASEAN and beyond. The primary goal of the Office of Advanced Studies is to provide a transformative educational experience for individuals seeking to advance their skills beyond undergraduate studies. We are committed to fostering an environment that encourages innovation and critical thinking, in line with USeP’s vision as a leading research university that transforms communities in the ASEAN region and beyond.
Advanced Programs: Our Graduate School plays an important role in contributing to inclusive growth and sustainable development. Through continuous innovation in dynamic curriculum, impactful research, economically empowering community services, and sustainable resource management, we aim to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Our institution offers master’s and doctoral degrees following Commission on Higher Education (CHED) guidelines for global academic success. This program meets the goals and interests of our students. Customized courses will provide specific knowledge and essential practical skills. All of these skills are for use in education, research, industry, and public services.
Objectives of the Office of the Advanced Studies
The OAS shall:
● collaborate with the colleges for strategic leadership and management of the graduate programs in compliance with the minimum requirements prescribed by oversight agencies, accrediting, and certifying bodies;
● monitor regular review and harmonization of the graduate school academic policies and implementation of curricular programs;
● implement harmonized plans, programs, and activities for graduate programs; and
● ensure that graduate school policies, guidelines, and innovation initiatives are consistently implemented.
