University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr. warmly welcomed Department of Budget Management, DBM, Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman during a courtesy call on November 23, 2023, at Acacia Hotel, Davao City.

During the meeting, Dr. Gabales expressed his gratitude to the DBM Chief for her continued support of the University’s goals. He also emphasized the University’s commitment to the Open Government Partnership (OGPinas) thrust to attain transparency, accountability, and participation. Moreover, he cited the University’s contributions to society, such as the College Education Behind Bars (CEBB) program; the Hospital-bound Educational Program for children with cancer at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) House of Hope; the USeP-Pamulaan Center for Indigenous Peoples Education; and various research and extension programs and partnerships, among others.
