The University Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Team led by President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr. completed the Capacity Development for DRRM: Incident Command System (ICS) Orientation and Simulation on April 3, 2024 at USeP Obrero campus.

The activity aimed to increase the level of understanding about ICS as a standard, on-scene, all-hazard incident management concept that allows users to adapt an integrated organizational structure for response. Serving as resource persons were 2LT Edsel S. Fulguerinas, PAF (Ret), MSG Lemuel A. Cirunay, PA (Res), and CPT Carmelito A. Lupo, PA (Res), all from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD).
