The Publication Unit organized the SPJRD Talks, a scholars’ forum for research dissemination, interaction, and convergence, last February 10, 2022. With its continued commitment to further promote the research culture in the university and the region, the Publication Unit of the University of Southeastern Philippines conducted a special session of SPJRD Talks, which discussed the ways to increase one’s citation count and spot predatory journals. The resource persons for this virtual session were Dr. Sue Shore, Professor of College of Indigenous Futures Education and Arts at Charles Darwin University, Australia, and Dr. Mohammed H. Al Aqad, Senior Lecturer of Translation and Interpreting Studies of the Department of Social Sciences in Management and Science University, Malaysia
