The Physical Development Division (PDD) of the University of Southeastern Philippines has an overall responsibility and authority over the design, construction, repair, renovation and implementation of built structures of the University. It also ascertains that changes and improvements are in conformity with the mission and vision of the University.

In line with the Strategic Plan of the University, the PDD strives to establish green building infrastructure and to modernize facilities in order to enhance the working and learning environment and as well as fulfill space demands for improved university services.

The Physical Development Division (PDD) of the University of Southeastern Philippines has the overall responsibility over the infrastructure projects of the University. It oversees the planning and implementation of physical facilities and ascertain that changes and improvement are in conformity with the mission and vision of the University.

Specifically, the PDD is tasked to design, plan and construct the physical facilities of the University, not only in Obrero Campus, but also in the external campuses as well. It sees to it that physical facilities will enhance and support the academic goals of the University. Moreover, it will come up with physical development plans that will guide the future growth and expansion of the various campuses.

By becoming a premier university in the ASEAN Region, the USEP shall be a center of excellence and development, responsive and adaptive to fast-changing environments, USEP shall also be known as the leading university in the country that fosters innovation and applies knowledge to create value towards social, economic, and technological developments.

MISSION

USEP shall produce world-class graduates and relevant research and extension through quality education and sustainable resource management.

Particularly, we are committed to:

  • Provide quality education for students to grow in knowledge, promote their well-rounded development, and make them globally competitive in the world of work;
  • Engage in high impact research, not only for knowledge’s sake, but also for its practical benefits to society; and
  • Promote entrepreneurship and industry collaboration.
GOALS
  • To produce technician graduates with marketable skills and potentials for growth to address the manpower needs of business and industry.
  • To produce occupationally and professionally prepared teachers and specialists in vocational technical education.
  • To engage in production activities that will enhance the development of knowledge, skills and capabilities for entrepreneurial endeavors or self-employment among graduates.
  • To provide professional services to industries, technical and vocational schools, professional organizations and other agencies, in upgrading and developing existing technical and supervisory manpower.
  • To integrate research and extension programs in collaboration with other institutions primarily for the development in the region.
OBJECTIVES
  • To manage and coordinate the execution of physical development plans of all campuses of the University
  • To ensure the formulation of sound and appropriate plans and designs of buildings and facilities in line with University's goals and objectives.
  • To monitor and assess the implementation of infrastructure and capital outlay projects across all campuses.
