A photo exhibit Li-li sa kamatuoran by Katrina Belen M. Roble, A peek into Reality held at College of Education lobby, University of Southeastern Philippines from December 15-18 2015, 8am-5pm.roble2

It is a photography exhibit that features the life, needs, and concerns of female inmates at Ray of Hope Village, Davao City. The photography exhibit is the production part of the artist’s thesis entitled: “Vignettes Behind Bars: A Closer Look into the Lives of Female Inmates of Ray of Hope Village”.

Li-li sa kamatuoran is the artist’s way of visual story telling photographs. The artist aims to raise awareness on the reality of the life behind bars, allowing the viewers to see through her eyes and look at the photographs in their own perspective.

These works are mementos of the artist’s journey as she immortalizes moments that evoke emotions through photographs.
