June 26, 2025 marked another historic milestone for the University of Southeastern Philippines โ€“ Mintal Campus as it proudly held its 46th Commencement Exercises at the USeP Mintal Gymnasium, Davao City. With the theme โ€œUSeP@46: Fostering Excellence. Embracing Diversity. Transforming Communities,โ€ this yearโ€™s ceremony honored the hard work, resilience, and triumph of the graduating class of 2025.
The program began with a solemn procession, followed by the Entrance of Colors by the University ROTC, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and an uplifting University Ecumenical Prayer.
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeneifer C. Nueva, formally presented the candidates for graduation, with University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr. conferring the degrees.
In his message, Dr. Gabales encouraged the graduates to carry with them not just academic knowledge but also the values of integrity, service, and innovation.
A highlight of the ceremony was the Commencement Address delivered by Engr. Arman A. Capin, DBA, President of Caresystem Technology Solution Co., Inc. and an alumnus of USeP. His inspiring words challenged the graduates to remain lifelong learners and nation-builders.
The event also included the distribution of diplomas led by Dr. Gabales, assisted by University administrators and program heads. Special recognition was given to Jay Lawrence G. Tongco, Magna Cum Laude of the Bachelor of Science in Development Anthropology, who delivered a heartfelt Valedictory Address on behalf of the Class of 2025.
Ms. Giana Alliona A. Caminade, representing the student body, led the Pledge of Loyalty to the Alma Mater, followed by the Induction to the Federation of USeP Alumni Associations by Alumni Regent Hon. Julius P. Borbon.
The ceremony concluded with an exceptional performance, the singing of the University Hymn, and a final recessional, marking both the end and the beginning for our new graduates.
Congratulations, Class of 2025! You are now ready to lead, serve, and make a difference in the communities you will soon transform.
