The University of Southeastern Philippinesโ€™ College of Development Management (CDM) conducted its Midyear Assessment on July 24 and 25, 2025, at the Davao Bamboo Sanctuary and Ecological Park, Barangay Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City. The event was held to assess, re-evaluate, and propose relevant activities aimed at improving the college operations.
The two-day event featured a range of activities, including presentations of office and college accomplishment reports, approval of the CDM Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) agenda, and review and approval of research proposals. Updates on infrastructure developments and feedback from faculty and staff who attended various trainings, seminars, and conferences were integral parts of the discussions.
Participants also formulated plans and proposals for School Year 2025-2026, received updates on both graduate and undergraduate curricula, and conducted the initial meeting on curricular revision for the undergraduate program to ensure continued academic relevance.
To foster collaboration and strengthen unity among faculty and staff, team-building activities were incorporated throughout the program. The assessment gathered the participation of regular faculty, staff, and contract of service employees.

Salapa, College Dean, expressed satisfaction with the event, noting that it successfully reinforced the collegeโ€™s dedication to continuous improvement, institutional efficiency, and academic excellence. The midyear assessment concluded with the documentation of accomplishments, approved agenda and proposals, and strategic plans to enhance the collegeโ€™s programs and infrastructure moving forward.
