[๐‘๐„๐‚๐„๐๐“๐‹๐˜ ๐‚๐Ž๐๐‚๐‹๐”๐ƒ๐„๐ƒ] The University of Southeastern Philippines College of Development Management held the โ€œHealthy Living, Healthy Heart: Managing Hypertension, Diabetes, and Lifestyle Choicesโ€ activity on September 26, 2025, at the CDM-AVR. Attendees were warmly welcomed by College Dean Dr. Aristeo C. Salapa, setting the tone for a meaningful and educational gathering.

The event was spearheaded by the Health Services unit of the college, led by Ms. Richelle C. Pacoy, College Nurse-Designate, and featured a comprehensive set of health education sessions delivered by Dr. Marites L. Domingo. Dr. Domingo, who is both a faculty member of the School of Medicine and Medical Director-Designate of the Health Services Division, guided participants through practical strategies for preventing and managing hypertension and diabetes, emphasizing the importance of healthy eating, regular exercise, stress management, and consistent adherence to medical advice. The program incorporated interactive forums and encouraged open discussion, prompting attendees to reflect on their own habits and commit to positive lifestyle changes. The event was marked by strong engagement from faculty and staff, and further deepened the collegeโ€™s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of proactive health and wellness within the university community.
